LSRN - Woldmarsh Charity Golf Day

On behalf of LRSN I would like to thank you so much for offering Waltham Golf Club and course to LRSN this year for our Charity Golf Day. The event was really well received and, as always, the Waltham team worked hard to provide us with a fantastic venue and experience with patience, grace and good humour for which we are very grateful.

We received many comments on how well the course looked and played, which I know must take many hours of loving attention and hard work to achieve, but it has certainly created a beautiful and impressive course. In addition, the restaurant staff looked after us so well and provided a delicious meal throughout the afternoon which was very welcome. Please pass on our gratitude to the whole team for looking after us all so well, thank you.

We are hoping to have raised over £7,500 which is a record breaking sum for us, absolutely amazing! We also know however that these events are vital to help increase our profile within Lincolnshire’s agricultural community. We are so fortunate to have such generous supporters and really appreciate your endorsement of the work that we do to help Lincolnshire’s farmers and farming families who face tough times. We have been experiencing increases in cases year on year, partly due to our increasing profile in Lincolnshire through the events that we run such as the golf day and partly through the growing reputation that we hold within the agricultural community for the work we do. This all requires sufficient resources to enable us to support the demands to deliver the vital services that we provide. Your support, and that of others in Lincolnshire, is essential and we are all very grateful to you.

So, overall a very successful event for us, thank you all and we look forward to working with you all again in the future.

Saxilby Golf Society

On behalf of Saxilby Golf Society may i take this opportunity in thanking everyone connected with Waltham Windmill in making our visit today [23rd March] so enjoyable.

After the problems with snow, rain and frost the course was in great condition for this time of year and credit must go to the Head Greenkeeper and his staff for this.

Many thanks to the catering and bar staff who served our needs throughout the day. The fish & chips were excellent. Last but know means least you two ladies whose co-operation in arranging and making the day run so smoothly.

In concluding we wish everyone at Waltham Windmill an enjoyable 2018 and look forward to visiting you again in the near future.
